| COGS Investigated 'Prospect Place' January, 16th, 2009, with Denise Boland of S.H.A.D.E |

One of Our newest Team Members asked us if we would Investigate his Grandfathers home, I guess he had an experience there as a child, and it scared him so bad, that he did not want to go back to that house. Apparently another family member of his was frightened so bad that they would not talk about it, so, we agreed to setup for an Investigation. From what he had told us his Grandmother past away in the livingroom of this home, I know that sometmes a child will see and hear things that an adult may overlook or may not experience, or pass it off as the house is settling. We setup a DVR system and ran four camera's in what were supposed to be the hot spots, as well Digital Voice Recorders. |
We also brought the 'Puck' along to try and see if whatever was in the house would be willing to communicate with us, as well as our other arsenal of equipment that we take along to the Investigations. We have a truckload of equipment and are always purchasing more, when we do an Investigation, we want to be able to cover as much space as possible, we hate the one that got away because of not having enough coverage do to lack of equipment. As the Night went on, we noticed that on the stairs leading to the finished basement the K2 meter would peg the red, and later it would be normal, and that was all the way up the stairs to the main level of the house, we never did figure out what was causing this, We know that it was picking up something electrical, we just were not able to figure out from where. We spent the most part of the Night Investigating this location, we wanted to try to get as much evidence as possible to set his mind at ease, or to try to capture anything to confirm his childhood fear. So after we ended up calling it a night, we went home, slept, and started going through the Evidence, we were NOT able to capture any Paranormal Activity, on video, photo, or evp's, we never had any personal experiences, and the Home felt very comfortable during our visit. |

We were Honored to be Invited to do an Investigation of 'Prospect Place' with Denise Boland of S.H.A.D.E, who contacted Marty Myers who is one of the Founders of Lost and Found Ohio as well as a COGS Team Investigator. It was unfortunate that we were not able to meet the whole S.H.A.D.E Team, but do to circustances they were not able to attend the Investigation, We met George Adams who was going to give us the Tour, but, this was not the first time that Marty and Denise have visited this location, so we did not bother George with the Tour. We ended up with six Team Members from both Groups, three men, and three women, and so that was the way that we divided the Teams as well. We of COGS setup two DVR Systems, One in the Basement, the other on the Second floor, and the Ballroom on the Third, we also had handheld Cams that I simply call Walkabouts that we use for filming the Investigation as well as the locations. 'Prospect Place', is a fascinating old building to say the least, the building is solid, even the stairs leading up don't even creak under your feet when you walk on them, We did a complete Investigation using K2 Meters, Thermometers, Digital Recorders, and so on. other Groups have Investigated this Place before, including 'TAPS'. |
We went to the Barn area, which the upstairs was blocked off, so we were not able to Investigate the upper level. I guess the roof leaks, and they did not want to chance anyone getting hurt. I call these cases as they are, I will not sugar coat the Evidence, We did not capture any solid Evidence of Paranormal Activity in the Mansion, a couple of times in the front bedroom the K2 meter spiked into the red, but no communication was established. We realize that other Groups have claimed to of captured Activity in this Building in the past, and maybe they did, We of COGS are not trying to discredit any other Groups findings, But the Evidence was NOT there. |
| On March 8th, 2009, COGS Investigated Bobby Mackey's Music World located in Wilder Kentucky, This Place has a notorius reputation of tragedies, everything from suicides to murders, It used to to be a slaughter house and there was a well in the basement that the blood used to drain into the licking river, after the slaughter house went out of business, it sat empty for sometime, devil worshippers were said to have used this building for rituals and sacrifices. |
